Isaac DAVIS
I am researching the DAVIS family of Chesterfield County. My father was David Clinton
DAVIS, who was well known for trading in cattle 1932-1942. My grandfather was Isaac
DAVIS of the Pine Grove Community in Chesterfield County. I believe he died in 1952
and was buried at Zoar United Methodist Church. Since I was serving in the Army during
the years of his death and the court battle over his property, I am searching for information
of the events and date of his death. He married Lillie Ida TEAL, daughter of Richard TEAL
and Nancy Jane DAVIS about 1870. His children were:
1. Henry Cletus.....born 1892.....married ??
2. David Clinton.....my father
3. Eddie F. .....born 1902.....married Maggie ? (one child, Ruby)
4. Bulah.....born 1904.....married Roy BOATWRIGHT
5. Ola.....born 1909.....married Bennie FREEMAN
Also would like any information on the descendants of the marriages since I have been away
in the Army and Marchant Marines since then and being retired in Texas does not give me the
opportunity to research. Would appreciate any help you may give me.
