I am looking up John Raymon DEESE born 31 Oct. 1879 married in 1900 and died 9 Apr.
1953 in Monroe, Union County, NC. He married Izena Zuleka JONES born 1 Dec. 1875
Sumter County, SC 10 Jul. 1968 Charlotte, Mecklenburg, NC. They had William Bazle,
Reath Olean, Earlen, Myra Era, Verla Sloan, Justin Raymond, Parley Wilton, Winston, and
Francille V. Deese. Also, Henry W. DEESE born 27 Jan. 1881 in Pageland, died 17 Sept.
1958, married to Adeliza JONES born 3 Mar. 1880 SC, died 4 Apr. 1913. They had Everal,
Ancel, Grace, and Adeliza.

My name is Don Reid from Rock Hill, S.C. My mother was Virginia Ruth HINSON b. 29 Nov.
1927 - d. 18 July 1990. Her father was William Jesse HINSON b. 12 Aug. 1879 - d. Oct. 1964
Married Blanche Marie NEAL on 12 June 1904. His father was Joshua Harry HINSON b. 20
Aug. 1844 - d. 15 Nov. 1917 married Martha N. DEESE b. 4 May 1848 - d. 13 Dec. 1933.
Martha N. DEESE father was William DEESE b. 1827 - d. 3 Nov. 1900 married Peggy R. b.
1825 and/or Margaret Ozinia (Zina) PARKER b. 1835 - d. 26 Jan. 1902. The 1850 census
shows William DEESE, Peggy R. and Martha N. DEESE aged 1 year. Who was Martha
DEESE's mother? Who was Peggy R.? Where is William DEESE and Peggy R. buried?
Joshua Harry HINSON, Martha N. DEESE HINSON, and (Zina) PARKER DEESE are buried
at Laurelwood Cemetery in Rock Hill, S.C.
