STEEN Family
I am interested in finding the STEEN family here in Chesterfield County. Thomas was born
in 1793/ died in Chesterfield County somewhere. His son James Samuel 1825/1866 married
Louisa TAYLOR d/o Thomas & Charlotte Spivey TAYLOR. James & Louisa had 4 kids:
William Marshall 1855; Ann Jane 1847; Elizabeth Charlotte 1848; P.G. or G.P. "Peter"
STEEN 1853(6)/1913 might be buried at Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery. Peter is
my great grandfather and he was raised by a TAYLOR Aunt in Wadesboro, North Carolina.
He finally came this way and married Luedan JORDAN about 1903. They had 2 girls:
Louise 1905/1985 and Bertha May 1908/1987. Louise is my grandmother and she married
Luther HINSON. Any help or information that you might have on this family I would like
to exchange information with you.
