Wilson Teal House Site |
James W. Jenkins: Wilson and "Monkey" Teal lived in a white frame house at this location. The house had two large Magnolia trees in the front yard that provided decorations for many houses in Chesterfield over the years. Wilson operated a beverage store on South Page Street. They had one daughter, Dot, who attended Nursing School. Dot Teal Watanabe gave the property where the gazebo is located on the corner of Main and South Page Street to the town. |
