James W. Jenkins: This was the home of Clyde and Sally Watson until the mid-fifties when they built a home in the country on Avandale Road. The house was converted to a two-apartment complex and Bill and Maxie Matthews lived in one apartment and Jeep and Donna Hurst lived in the other apartment. Others who rented the house included Dean White, and his mother Annie White. |
