Griggs House
Dr. Buff House
W. K. Sellers House
Charlie Hunt House
Everett Demby House
Dr. William Perry: The first recollection I have of this site was a Griggs family lived here. Mr. Griggs (who moved here from near the state line) had a son, Osma, who was in my class in high school. Later a Dr. Buff who had a medical practice at the back of Chesterfield Drug Store, lived here. He had two children. His son was an outstanding athlete. Charlie Hunt, Sr. lived in the house before Everett Demby purchased the property. Mr. Hunt’s wife was a sister to Leggett Rivers and Walter King, Jr’s mother. The house has been moved slightly from its original location and has been remodeled recently. The Trotti House was located next to this house and a third house was located below the Trotti house.
