Katherine Ward Rivers Braswell: Mertin Hursey was the first woman school superintendent in the state of South Carolina.
Elizabeth Ann Gaddy Rivers: This was known as the Edgeworth home at one time. I think one of the daughters was named Bert. Bert lived with her mother, who may have been an invalid. Thomas Summner lived here and worked at the Square Deal Drug Store.
