This picture shows the intersection of Highway 742 North (Left to Wadesboro, NC) and Highway 145 North (Right to Morven, NC). The Curtis Family operates the Phillips 66 Station at this intersection.
Charles D. Rivers: Legrand "Wendy" Campbell built the store shown in the intersection above. I think it was built around 1950. It is called the T & C Grocery today. Billy Curtis owns the store and one of his sons operates the business. |
