Dr. William Perry: Wilson Teal operated a liquor store at this location. Wilson lived on the southeast corner of South Page Street and the Boulevard.
Katherine Ward Rivers Braswell: When Ralph Lisenby was operating the service station on the corner, some ladies from town would get him to make purchases at the liquor store for them. Some of the liquor was used for cooking, but some was for personal consumption. |
