Dr. William Perry: The Barrentines lived at this site and operated the newspaper in Chesterfield. Mr. Barrantine wrote a story of being captured by Sherman’s Army. A Mrs. Ballard lived here at one time. Mr. Ben Robeson married one of the Barrentine girls |
