Katherine Ward Rivers Braswell: This house was built by J. D. Jones and he and his first wife lived there until they built their house on Ivy Hill. After that, Ermis and Jean Wortham lived there, Bealer and Eunice Davis and their four boys lived there. Jimmy Braswell bought the house and rented it to Walter and JoAnn Teal. When they moved out Mrs. O'Nolan rented it and then bought it. She came from Ireland to live near her daughter who was married to a Huntley, who was a deputy sheriff. The daughter lives on the Teal's Mill Road in a house not too far from the Hannah House. |
