Doris Jean Rollins Moore: Dewey and I were married June 28, 1959 and construction began June 29, 1959. The Contractor was “Buck” Eddins. The site was a gully that had eroded over the years and so we have a great deal of “elbow grease” invested in the site. Our two children grew up in this house and Dewey died here. The home has enabled me to care for my mother for a number of years and I am thankful for that. J. W. and I have lived here since we married. |
