James W. Jenkins: Bill and Bertha Rivers lived on Wilson Street prior to building here. They were neighbors of my Uncle George's family. I recall that Bill was one of the first people I knew who drove a Studebaker Automobile. I had the pleasure of teaching their daughter, Bonnie, when she was in high school. Bonnie graduated from Medical School. She lives in Lousiana today.
