John Frank McLeod, Jr.: Chesterfield Webbing began operating as an elastic webbing operation in the early fifties. The business was started by Mr. John Fran McLeod, Sr. The business was purchased by Tubbs Elastic in 1980 (the name remained the same)and they operated the business until 1995 when CMI Industries purchased the business in January of that year, and they sold the business in May of 1995 to Joe-Anne Company International. They continue to produce elastic webbing. |
