James W. Jenkins: Henry and Annie Gulledge Smith Family: Children: (sons) J. C., Donald, Levy, Everett, Douglas, and Bobby, (daughters) Myrtle Smith Weatherford, Thelma Smith Menzo, and Birty Smith Oliver. I recall that Everett lost an arm in an accident but he was able to perform all the duties of a service station with one arm. Don operated a grocery store at the intersection of Highway 9 and Teal's Mill Road. Ray Campbell was the first person that I can recall who operated a station at location.
