Katherine Ward Rivers Braswell: This house was the Presbyterian manse at one time. I remember when the McIntyres lived here. They had several daughters, one of who was named Violet. She was a very pretty girl. The Welborn Pussers lived here after their house next door burned.
Today it is rental property and the home of Carolyn Lisenby Pierce.
Elizabeth Ann Gaddy Rivers: Some members of the Welborn Pusser family legally changed their name to "Purser". Members of the Lloyd Purser family own this rental property. |
