Melvin Campbell House
Melvin and Sarah Norwood Campbell built and lived in this house from the middle of the Century until their health failed. Melvin was an insurance agent for most of his working years. He was the son of Mr. Jim Campbell who was a barber. Mr. Jim Campbell lived on Mangum Street. Sarah Norwood was from Bennettsville and she was a sister of John Frank McLeod's wife, Betsy Norwood.
