Gene Stephenson: I built this home in 1938 and Lib and I reared our boys here. The Stephenson family has been the only occupants of this home. Mr. Carl Brigman was our contractor and I believe this was the third house he built in Chesterfield. He went on to build several homes in Chesterfield.
