James W. Jenkins: Mr. Robert Gaskins was part owner of Gaskin’s Gin and Fertilizer Company. Marge Gaskins was secretary to the Superintendent of Schools for a number of years and later served in the District Office in the Instruction Department. The Gaskins built this house in 1953 and raised their daughter here. Margie Gaskins continues to live in the house.
