Ted Hancock House
Emsley Laney House
James W. Jenkins: Mr. Hancock built this home. He was the Ford Dealer in Chesterfield. He had a son, Tommy, who was an outstanding athlete. Tommy and I roomed together at USC. Tommy had a black Mercury identical to the one James Dean drove in "Rebel Without a Cause." The car was stolen while we were at USC. It was later recovered in Laurinburg, N. C. Today Emsley and Lois Laney live here.
