Dr. William Perry: Mr. Biggs was from Hartsville and he opened a grocery store on the north side of Main Street which was later purchased by Sam Presson. He built this home and lived here while he was in Chesterfield. John Russell McLain bought the home and remodeled it when he returned to Chesterfield. He and Suellyn lived here for a number of years. Today their son Johnny and his wife Debbie live here. |
