In the early part of the 20th Century, this store was operated by the R. D. Teal Family. After the store closed, the building was rented as living space. My parents rented this three room store which was located at the entrance to the Housing Authority property today. The store front was shortened when it was moved. I played under that shelter as a six year old. I walked from this location to the old school site on Crescent Drive while in the first grade.
