Katherine Ward Rivers Braswell: John Douglas’ great-grandmother King lived here when I was young. Lucile King Douglas (John’s grandmother) and Cheryl Hancock Douglas’ mother Willie Faye lived here. At one time, the Snipes had a childcare in the house.
James W. Jenkins:I have heard that Mr. D. A. Holly, Principal of Chesterfield Schools lived here for a number of years. Mayor John Douglas lives here today. |
