J. H. Clovis Dalrymple House
Mr. Jennings Harris Clovis Dalrymple served as County Superintendent of Schools and later he was elected as Probate Judge of Chesterfield County. I Think they were originally from Mt. Croghan and moved to Chesterfield because of his position in County Government. Clovis and Margaret Hendricks Dalrymple had four daughters. (Belinda, Delores, Gail, and Jennalyn) Delores Dalrymple Gulledge has a Ph D and serves on the staff of The Other Side Ministries, Inc. in Columbia, SC. Gail married Alvin Miller from Chesterfield and they live in Irmo, SC. Margaret Dalrymple was a sister to Clyde Hendricks.
