Covington Hotel
The Covington Hotel was completed in 1910. A two story portion on the left is all that survives today. It included the Chiquola Men;s Club upstairs and a drugstore downstairs. A diner, the post office and other stores were located on the ground level of the hotel portion. It became the Ingram Hotel in 1928 and burned in 1946. Famous lodgers at the hotel include Babe Roth and Jack Dempsey.
