Research Requests

The Chesterfield Genealogical Research Library can fill simple research requests using materials that we have at the Chesterfield Genealogical Research Library.  This includes information from the list of family histories and family files on the left.   Additional information of the societies holdings can be found under the Records tab .  Links for beginners, South Carolina, Chesterfield County and other critical links for researchers can be located here.

For simple research requests are performed by volunteers at the Chesterfield Genealogical Research Library, please submit a research request or send a request through our Facebook page.  Please allow time for your request to be completed before trying to obtain a status.  All requests will be completed by volunteers on a “first come, first serve” basis. Thank you!  Though we do not specifically request them.  Any and all donations are greatly appreciated and can be mailed to the address on the home page.

For more extensive research services we have provided links to the  Board For Certification Of Genealogists and the Association of Professional Genealogists.  These links will provide you with members willing to provide research in South Carolina.
